Water Work
A gathering for women who want their life
and work to feel rooted instead of rushed.
Saturday August 8th | 1:00pm–8:00 pm
Fairhaven Farm, Duluth, MN
A day devoted to your own life.
Most women spend their weekends catching up on everything they didn't finish during the week. Water Work is a day set aside for something else entirely: your own ideas, your own work, and the part of your life that keeps resurfacing.
There comes a point every summer when life asks for your attention.
Not your inbox.
Not the laundry.
Not everyone else's plans.
Your own.
The project you can't stop thinking about. The business that's still living in a notebook. The room you've wanted to redesign. The application you've almost submitted three different times. The conversation you know would change something if you finally had it.
Water Work is a day devoted to that part of your life.
We'll spend the afternoon surrounded by gardens, open fields, fresh air, nourishing food, movement, and women who understand what it feels like to have something important they want to make room for.
By the time you drive home, the thing that has been taking up so much space in your mind will finally have somewhere to go. You'll have made meaningful progress, found your next steps, and experienced a way of working that feels spacious enough to return to again and again.

Who This is For
This gathering is for women who have something they keep meaning to begin, pivot from, refine, or finish. Who want a day that moves them from vague pressure into bold moves. Within a live and energizing focus session, you’ll finish the thing with radiant energy and high fives!
What Do I Bring
A creative project, a business idea, a life transition, a body that wants to move, a decision you have been circling, or a next chapter that feels close enough to touch but still difficult to organize.
You do not need to have it all figured out before you arrive. You only need to bring one special task that wants your attention.
Your Guide
I’m Terese — an artist, facilitator, farmer, and elemental focus guide.
I grew up in northern Minnesota surrounded by flora and fauna, tending animals, and continuing my family legacy through seasonal work. I navigated an autoimmune illness for ~5 years before entering the architecture field then after grief experienced my energy shatter. I noticed when I tuned back into nature whether on the farm, mountains, Ayurvedic principals or shamanic dance practices, my energy and soul would recover. This shaped how I understand focus as a rhythm, instinct, and relationship with the living world.
I use the elements as a practical map for getting unstuck: Earth for structure, Water for feeling, Fire for action, Air for clarity, and Aether for connection.
My background includes visual art, design, murals, museum and exhibit work, teaching, Qoya, rural life, grief, business-building, and years of studying how creative women actually move through change.
Portal Productivity is where work becomes ritual, focus becomes embodied, and follow-through starts to feel like a return to yourself.
What We’ll Do
-
We'll begin with guided Elemental Focus, using the elements as a practical map for listening to what is real, what is felt, what wants action, what needs clarity, and what connects the whole picture.
Together we'll explore Earth for honest structure, Water for intuition and emotion, Fire for courageous action, Air for perspective and language, and Aether for meaning, timing, and the larger life your work belongs within.
-
After our guided introduction, you'll move into focused reflection and planning so the day becomes more than an inspiring experience. You'll leave with clearer language, renewed direction, and practical next steps you can carry into everyday life.
-
We'll transition into Qoya, a movement practice built on the belief that through movement we remember our essence as wise, wild, and free.
There is nothing to perform and nothing to get right. Through gentle guidance, music, breath, and intuitive movement, your body is invited into the conversation, often revealing clarity that thinking alone cannot reach.
-
As the afternoon settles into evening, we'll share a nourishing meal, gather in an art project circle.
This final gathering is a chance to let the day sink in—to celebrate what shifted, be witnessed by other women, and return home feeling more grounded, connected, and ready for what's next.
Creative Field Day is for women who are building beautiful lives and want their work to feel more connected to their bodies and the natural world without burnout.
The work you're meant to do doesn't have to come at the expense of your nervous system. Leave feeling grounded, energized, and connected to a way of working that feels both sustainable and deeply alive.

Elemental Focus
See Yourself Clearly
The elements offer a practical way to understand where you are instead of where you think you "should" be. Together we'll notice what's stable, what's shifting, what's asking for action, and what can simply be released.
Work With Nature
Rather than forcing the same approach every day, you'll explore how Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Aether each support different kinds of work. You'll leave with a framework you can return to whenever life or work feels out of balance.
Find Your Next Step
Instead of collecting more ideas, you'll uncover the next action that actually belongs to this season of your life. Clarity often appears when we stop trying to control every outcome.
Beautiful work doesn't have to be built through burnout. Sometimes it begins with slowing down long enough to
hear what has been quietly asking for your attention all along.
Momentum Session
Natural Intelligence
Our events prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process. Nature solves problems through observation, adaptation, and relationship—not force. We'll explore how the elements offer a practical framework for making decisions, creating momentum, and working with the wisdom that's already present around and within you.
Moving in a Cyclical Rhythm
Not every day is meant for pushing forward. By understanding the natural cycles of the seasons, the week, your energy, and your own creative rhythms, you'll learn to recognize what kind of work each moment is asking of you.
Working within the Village
We were never meant to build meaningful lives in isolation. Spend the day creating alongside women who celebrate one another's progress, offer fresh perspective, and remind you that your work becomes stronger when it grows in community.
Celebrate
Gather
Create Together
There is something quietly powerful about working in a field where everyone is tending to their own life while cheering for everyone else's. You'll experience the rare gift of focusing deeply without feeling alone.
Be Witnessed and Celebrated
Your ideas don't need to be bigger, louder, or more polished to matter. Sometimes they simply need to be spoken aloud in a room where they're met with curiosity instead of judgment.
Carry the Feeling Home
Long after the day ends, you'll remember what it felt like to create in community instead of isolation. That sense of belonging has a way of changing how we approach our work, our relationships, and ourselves.
When women gather with openness instead of competition, something remarkable happens. Ideas grow bolder, courage becomes contagious, and the next chapter suddenly feels possible.

Creative Field Day is a summer farm retreat for women who can feel that we are at the dawn of a new age where we live and work in rhythm with nature.
Come spend a day in the field, near the garden, and next to other creative women in honest rhythm with the land. You’ll learn how to unlock what has been stuck using the pulse of elements, using nature to amplify flowstate. We will celebrate eachother for getting the hardest task done, have a delicious farm fresh meal, dance and have a ceremony by the fire.
You’ll leave clearer, softer, steadier, and aligned with your best way of working that prevents doubt and burnout in your day to day life.
